Declutter your environment: Remember to remove all personal items from the infested room. Caution: Remember that objects in the infested area can transfer bedbugs to other areas. It is best to put objects and clothes in plastic bags. Wash clothes and linens: Infested clothing and bedding cannot be treated with an insecticide. They should be washed in very hot water. If washing is not available, heat clothing or linens for several minutes. Another trick is to put the laundry in a cold room. Some professionals offer this service to exterminate bedbugs that are still on the laundry. Dismantling bed bases: Having access to the bed base during cleaning is important. Raise the box spring, run a flashlight through the fabric and look for bed bugs. If the fabric is torn (possible hiding place), remove the fabric to prepare it for spraying. If the mattress and/or box spring are infested, you may want to consider getting rid of it. Also inspect the furniture: Dresser drawers, desks, etc. Bed bugs like to hide in these places. Return furniture to inspect and clean all hiding places. All furniture should be moved away from the walls.

Those pesky bedbugs are intolerable. I have several times brought back loads of them during various stays in remote regions of Canada (Yukon, Northwest Territories, James Bay, Nunavut, etc.) and I thought of them 24 hours a day, including when I was at work. I even slept with a flashlight and got up in the middle of the night to investigate and try to catch bedbugs in the act. I started imagining it everywhere.

I tried to get rid of it with my own means… And I didn't skimp on the means, believe me. After several weeks of combat, I had resolved to damage my health by using extremely violent toxic products which could have probably killed a horse (if there had been a horse in my room, he would have died for sure) . I thought I had finally managed to get rid of bedbugs but my peace of mind only lasted a handful of days because (to my amazement) I quickly started finding new ones again (in addition to the horrible bites I had on my arms and legs when I got out of bed!) . I finally had to face the facts: I needed the services of a professional exterminator. Admittedly, I'm just a layman on the matter

Hello,

Bed bugs are extremely tough and it's quite difficult to get rid of them. Be careful when traveling, hotels are full of them! We have customers who call us because after returning from vacation usually (with a few bugs in their luggage) they are literally invaded. One of the most constraining aspects is the contact of bedbugs directly on the skin causing fairly strong itching.

If you plan to travel, take tea tree oil with lemongrass oil with you. On the spot with 10 drops of each, make a water-based mixture and sprinkle some on the mattress before going to bed. Also put some on your skin, this time the mixture must be with almond oil. The bugs will a priori stay away.
