About twelve years ago, I was on a road trip with some friends back from a Blink 182 concert in LA. We were driving through Arizona on a 33-hour road trip back to Ohio, just because one of the guys loved Blink 182 so much that he convinced us to go. I was driving at the time when this bizarre incident happened.
It was the middle of the night, and we found ourselves stuck in a traffic jam behind a bunch of cars waiting for construction work to finish. As we sat there, joking and laughing with each other, we began to wonder why we hadn't moved for so long. We could see the yellow lights on the construction vehicles rotating, and the red light from the rear car lights, but there was no movement.
After waiting for what seemed like ages, I got out of the car to investigate. I walked through the orange cones, only to discover that there was nobody in the construction vehicles. They were all just sitting there, running, but there was no sign of the drivers or workers.
When I looked around at the other cars, I realized that there was nobody in them either. We had been sitting in a traffic jam in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night, behind a bunch of cars and construction vehicles that were ON but NOBODY WAS IN THEM.
I jumped back into the car and we took off as fast as we could. Even now, I have no idea what that was all about. It wasn't a hallucination, as all four of us saw the same thing. I didn't stop to check for tracks or anything; we just got the hell out of there.
If your tempered glass phone or tablet screen protector shatters, don’t panic!
If you need to remove a tempered glass screen protector from your smartphone, turn off your phone first and then try some of these suggestions:
Turn off the phone or tablet.
Use a toothpick to create a gap between the tempered glass protector and the screen. The goal is to lift the screen protector up from each corner.
When you can, fit a credit card into the gap, keeping the strain on the protector while you slowly pull up to remove it. If this does not work, attach a small piece of duct tape to the protector and slowly peel the protector up off the screen.
Once the protector is off, use a microfiber cloth to wipe the screen clean.
If you’re having a hard time getting the protector off easily, you can soften the screen with a hair dryer. Just be careful not to overheat your phone.
You may turn a bottle into a drinking glass, vase, or candle holder by using a Dremel rotary tool. Depending on the thickness of the bottle, the optimal method for cutting the glass varies slightly. Be aware that while cutting glass with a rotary tool is possible, Dremel does not encourage it.
First, apply a small amount of shine serum or styling cream to the palms of your hands. Then, run your fingers gently through your hair to make loose waves, but do not brush or comb it. Use a hair spray or scrunch fixative gel into your hair to ensure that the waves will stay all day.
👑Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, a descendant of King Edward VII, is currently the oldest living great~great~grandchild of Queen Victoria as well as her oldest living descendant. Elizabeth Ramsay, born in 1963 and a descendant of Prince Arthur, is the youngest great-great-grandchild of 👑Queen Victoria.
Add on to the royal upbringings of the then-children, Elizabeth and Philip also happened to share a distant relative, as both are descendants of Queen Victoria. The monarch and her husband are therefore distantly related, as both were the great-great-grandchildren of Queen Victoria and thus third cousins.
Hello this is what i found for you Sedimentary rocks are formed when sediment is deposited out of (air, ice, wind, gravity, or water flows) carrying the particles in suspension. This sediment is often formed when weathering and erosion break down a rock into loose material in a source area. Sedimentary rocks are formed on or near the Earth's surface, in contrast to metamorphic and igneous rocks, which are formed deep within the Earth. The most important geological processes that lead to the creation of sedimentary rocks are 'erosion', 'weathering', 'dissolution', 'precipitation', and 'lithification'.
While there still are traditional routes to learn about photography through college classes and the like, more-and-more people are teaching themselves. Given the number of resources available (both free and paid ones), you can learn about photography by yourself. 📸🎥
The photo exposure basics are composed of different elements that we'll discuss below like the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. The fundamental thing to understand is the effect of exposure, which is to capture the image with a determined brightness(this is also called “Exposure Value”).
It all depends on where you place the cursor for "junior developer" and it all depends on what you ask that developer to do.
Can you get hired as a junior web dev in 5 months? This, yes ! For sure ! But it depends more on your self-confidence and the energy you give off during the interview than on your programming skills, especially for a junior position.
Once hired, you will by definition be a junior web dev, so yes it is possible.
But I tend to think that it will be a laborious journey and that it would be better, if you can, to practice 6 more months on 3–4 personal projects that are close to your heart in order to cultivate a certain expertise in some area. Specialize at least a little in the subjects that really interest you, you will learn much faster.
Ideally, participate as actively as possible in a forum focused on a particular language/framework; read all new questions, even when it talks about a subject you know nothing about, read the answers; If you think you know an answer, participate! Helping other people learn to code will take you a long way.
By acting rigorously in this way (at least 10h/day, every day) for a year, I think we can have a "junior web dev" level which really corresponds to something.
But here it is, 1 year at the rate of 10 hours a day doing interesting and diversified things... It still requires a lot of work before you really feel "job-ready"
It is surely possible since it is a skill that can be acquired alone with a simple internet connection. Tutorials abound on the web. I met a lot of self-taught developers in my professional environment, and myself, I had already started to learn how to develop on my own before my studies.
To become a developer, you must first love solving problems, and be passionate and curious. Many people who have become successful programmers but have not gone through dedicated courses have at some point in their life loved the computer, loved tinkering and helping their friends configure computers. Then they moved on, so that an opportunity or an encounter in their life revives their forgotten passion, the latter often faced with a choice in their life opt to become a programmer to do a job that they are passionate about and that is well paid .
