If you're a die heart sushi fan, I'm sorry but I have some bad news for you. Not exactly bad, but news that demands more patience out of you. If you've had your surgery (gotten your tooth removed) you must avoid sushi for at least a week (two weeks to be on an even safer edge). I know it can be difficult to resist a craving but sushi could do more good to you than bad. Because of its texture and the rice inside it, Chinese cuisine could get stuck in your extraction sites and then be the cause of an infection or anything such. And if it makes you feel special, it's not just about sushi but you should avoid rice at all for a couple of days.

Cooked sushi can last 3-4 days in the fridge. Make sure to store it in an airtight container and always check the expiration date on the packaging.
