Neglecting to wear sunscreen is a huge mistake that many people don't realize until it's too late. Seriously, make sunscreen a part of your daily routine. Just one sunburn can triple your risk of developing melanoma later in life. I've worked alongside older individuals in various outdoor professions who now suffer from skin cancer and regret not using sunscreen consistently. Heed Baz Luhrmann's advice and wear sunscreen. If you're concerned about certain chemicals found in sunscreens, there are alternative options available. For example, Korean sunscreens are smooth like lotion, non-sticky, and free of some of the harsher chemicals found in American sunscreens. Make applying sunscreen a daily habit, and you'll thank yourself later in life.

I tend to eat quickly, and in public places I make sure to sit facing the entrance and keep a constant eye on my surroundings.
I'm always a little skeptical when people are nice to me and wonder what their intentions are. I keep extra clothes, water, and various other items in my car just in case I need them. It's not that I'm a hoarder, it's just hard for me to get rid of things. I'm not a fan of staying away from home overnight, and I've also given up boiled eggs, started over-seasoning my food, and stopped drinking Kool-Aid.

  1. Drink and eat to enhance your health. Some people try to reduce stress by drinking alcohol or eating too much to reduce their stress and anxiety. These actions may seem helpful for a short time but they actually add more stress. Caffeine also can compound the effects of stress. Consuming a healthy, balanced diet can help to combat stress.
  2. Exercise daily. Exercise is known to be a powerful stress reliever. Endorphins are released during aerobic exercise. There are natural substances that help you feel better and maintain a positive attitude.
  3. Avoid tobacco and nicotine products. People who smoke to reduce their stress actually add stress to their life. This is because nicotine increases physical arousal and reduces blood flow and breathing.
  4. Relaxation techniques. Study and practice relaxation techniques like mindfulness meditation, deep breathing, imagery, and progressive muscle relaxation.
  5. Reduce the causes of stress. If you have more demands and less time, try to manage your time and practice time management skills like pacing yourself, setting priorities,      or asking for help from others when needed.
  6. Do not expect too much for your goals. It is ok to realize that you cannot be 100% at everything all at once. Set your goals that are realistic.
  7. Examine your values and live by them. The more your actions reflect your beliefs, the better you will feel, no matter how busy your life is. Use your values when choosing your activities.

Skincare experts advise massaging your face 2-3 times a week. You can gently massage your face at home every day for 5-10 minutes as it causes no harm to your skin. It helps in promoting blood circulation and fading fine lines over time. This drastically increases the blood circulation in your face, which leads to glowing and radiant skin. Proper blood flow also improves the appearance of your skin, making you have a smoother tone and texture. More collagen is produced when there is enhanced blood circulation.

Place your index and middle fingers on your temples. Gently massage towards the bridge of your nose, then up and over your eyebrow, ending the oval path back at your temple. Then sweep your hands upwards and outward towards your hairline with slow pressure. Repeat it 5 to six times. Apply the oil or balm to the underneath of the cheekbone area and gently rest your face in the palms of your hands.

Fat-soluble vitamins are stored in adipose tissues and these are not excreted as easily as water-soluble. These vitamins are not absorbed directly into the bloodstream but are absorbed into the lacteals in the small intestine via chylomicrons, transported through the lymphatic system, and then distributed throughout the body in the bloodstream. They are stored in the body's cells and are not excreted as easily as water-soluble vitamins, therefore, they can accumulate to toxic levels if taken in excessive amounts. They do not need to be consumed as often as water-soluble vitamins, although adequate amounts are needed.

Numbness is a loss of feeling or sensation in a part of the body. It can be complete or partial. It is a sign of a problem with nerves in the body, though it is a common symptom of many other medical conditions. It can occur on one side of the body, or it may occur symmetrically, on both sides of the body.

Causes

Numbness is caused by irritation, compression, or damage to the nerves. This interferes with the body’s ability to feel normal sensations. A single nerve branch or several nerves may be affected. Certain diseases such as diabetes, or toxins such as chemotherapy drugs or alcohol, can damage the longer, more-sensitive nerve fibers (such as those going to your feet) and cause numbness

Some cases of numbness are caused by abnormal pressure on the nerves in and around the spine. This type of numbness is caused by:

• Pinched nerve due to bone spur, arthritis

• Herniated or ruptured disc

• Collapsed backbone due to osteoporosis

• Compressed spinal cord

Causes of numbness due to trauma includes:

1. Brachial plexus injury

2. Carpal tunnel syndrome

3. Frostbite

Other conditions that cause numbness:

• Diabetes

• Infections such as HIV or Lyme disease

• Kidney disease

• Medications or drug use

• Multiple sclerosis

• Stroke

• Arthritis

• Tumor

• Spread of cancer to the spine

• Animal and insect bites

• Exposure to toxins or poison

Cinnamon pills are safe to use over the short term as long as you do not take them for too long. Talk to your doctor about when to take them and about the dosage. Benefits

Reduces weight

Studies show that taking cinnamon pills could help in losing weight. A review concluded that they could reduce people's waist circumferences and weights, especially in those with a BMI above 30.

Reduces glucose levels

It was found that cinnamon supplements can help people improve their blood sugar levels by increasing insulin sensitivity and can better control diabetes.

Prevents Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease

Cinnamon is a powerhouse filled with antioxidants as well as manganese, calcium, and iron.

Manganese is an important element for healthy brain function, and cinnamon may be helpful in preventing Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.

Improves heart health

It is beneficial for your heart as it lowers blood pressure and cholesterol.

The best time for taking a multivitamin is in the morning. That is because it tends to do best when taken earlier in the day, as the vitamins might stimulate metabolism and brain function.

You can take a multivitamin at night as well, as long as you take it with a small amount of food to coat your stomach and to help your body absorb the fat-soluble vitamins.

Many single vitamins also get absorbed on an empty stomach, but when it comes to multivitamins, the best would be taken with food.

Our auditory system consists of the outer ear, middle ear, inner ear, and acoustic nerve. When one of these parts is not working in an optimal way, a hearing loss can happen.

Hearing loss is defined as any one of the following:

• Conductive (involves outer or middle ear)

• Sensorineural (involves inner ear)

• Mixed (combination of the two)

• auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder

Causes

Aging and chronic exposure to loud noises both can result in hearing loss. Other reasons like excessive earwax can also reduce hearing temporarily.

  • Damage to the inner ear. Chronic exposure to loud noise causes damage to the nerve cells that send signals to the brain. As the result, electric signals are not transmitted as efficiently. Aging may cause wear and tear on the hairs or nerve cells in the cochlea.
  • A gradual buildup of earwax. When earwax blocks the ear canal, it prevents the conduction of sound waves. Hearing can be restored by earwax removal.
  • Ear infection and abnormal bone growths or tumors. Infections or tumors in the outer or middle ear can cause hearing loss.
  • Ruptured eardrum. When the tympanic membrane perforates by any loud blasts of noise, sudden changes in pressure, poking your eardrum with an object, and infection, your hearing is affected.
